Acacia burkei – Black Monkey Thorn Bonsai #2

Acacia burkei – Black Monkey Thorn Bonsai #2 also known as Senegalia burkei) potted in a glazed Chinese ceramic bonsai pot. This species is deciduous, indigenous and a great choice for bonsai growers with its fine leaves.  The bark is a distinctive feature with a rough, textured surface with deep fissures and ridges, improving with age.
