We planted this sacred fig bonsai in a Chinese plastic bonsai pot. In Buddhism, the Bodhi Tree holds deep spiritual meaning as the tree under which Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment. It symbolises peace, wisdom and awakening, and many regard it as the holiest tree in the world because of its direct connection to the origin of Buddhism.
