Kurume Azalea bonsai #12 potted in a glazed ceramic bonsai pot. This is a rare variety of Azalea – which produces a beautiful small coloured flower.

Kurume Azaleas are among the most prized flowering bonsai subjects, producing a spectacular flush of blooms that can cover the entire tree in spring.

Kurume Azaleas have small leaves, fine branching and respond well to the clip-and-grow technique used to develop classic azalea bonsai styling. They prefer a semi-shaded position and consistent watering.

Grown from cutting in 2004.
