Description

Kurume Azalea (purple) pre-bonsai is a rare variety of Azalea – producing a beautiful small coloured flower. This is a starter or pre-bonsai.

Kurume Azaleas are among the most prized flowering bonsai subjects, producing a spectacular flush of blooms that can cover the entire tree in spring. This pre-bonsai in purple offers excellent potential for development into a showpiece flowering bonsai.

Kurume Azaleas have small leaves, fine branching and respond well to the clip-and-grow technique used to develop classic azalea bonsai styling. They prefer a semi-shaded position and consistent watering.
